Mobile Technology Engagement Still a Challenge

Superannuation funds and insurance companies made steady progress with their mobile marketing strategies in the past year, but are still challenged by engagement.

 

As part of boutique recruitment firm Talent Web Recruitment’s superannuation and insurance mobile marketing master class, BanterMob presented research findings that revealed the rapid rate at which mobile technology was growing and consumer activity.

 

Superannuation and insurance representatives in attendance included REST, Suncorp, Rice Warner, Ace Insurance, QBE, Covermore and Wesfarmers Insurance.

 

“By 2014, mobile Internet will overtake desktop Internet globally,” BanterMob director Kelly Slessor, who researches, develops and designs mobile marketing solutions, said.

 

“Next year we’ll start to see this trend taking over and it will overtake, there’s no doubt about it.
